What is the NWTA weekend all about?
- The New Warrior Training Adventure - what a mouthful! Let's just call it NWTA for now...
- The NWTA is, for lack of a better term, a weekend workshop for men.
- It involves some mild physical activity and for many men, some personal discovery.
- The weekend is not content driven, so there is no religious, social or any other specific education, doctrine or philosophy.
- The weekend is about you. Each man makes his own movie, so to speak. All the NWTA does is provide a framework, giving men the opportunity to become aware of what is inside.
- Furthermore, the community of men in the ManKind Project including those staffing on the NWTA will not judge you, shame you or blame you. This is an environment of tolerance where everything you have done, everything you are, everything you feel is welcome.
- Amongst other things, the weekend is a rite of passage into a community of men. This does not involve any physical pain, humiliation or other silliness.
Over 30,000 men in 9 countries have attended the NWTA.
This is what some of them have had to say...
